MISSISSAUGA FUTURE STAR Contest Finals
Be part of the excitement as celebrity judges decide between enthusiastic semi-finalists just who will be this year’s “Mississauga Future Star” and receive the grand prize of $2,000 cash, recording time at MetalWorks studio with a professional engineer and their own professional website. Winner announced at 1:30pm.

  Opening Act Crash Parallel
Drawing comparisons to artists such as Coldplay, The  Fray, David Gray and Counting Crows, Crash Parallel’s debut album is a combination of strong melodies and intimate lyrics. The Toronto-based quartet was formed three years ago by singer/ songwriter Tim Edwards and songwriter/guitarist Dan Saitua, later joined by Gary Rugala (bass) and John Vitellaro (drums). Their debut album World We Know is set to release May 2008!

As one of Canada's Best Guitarist, Colin has sold over one million records worldwide, traveled the globe and garnered international recognition for his versatility as a guitarist and for his unforgettable voice. His diverse catalogue of music includes blues and rock that got his career going. Colin is a six time Juno award winner and a recipient of three Maple Blues Awards including Best entertainer, Electric Act and Recording of the Year.


Back by popular demand, Colin is set to "Rock the House!"

Infinite Fantasy
Tatyana (Leonid's wife) spent nine years in a Russian circus Leonid spent nine years honing his craft in the martial arts. She taught him acrobatics and, with time, circus performing has become a family affair.  All four children, from their 17-year marriage, contribute to entertaining crowds across southern Ontario.

Their performances come complete with various forms of musical background.



The Young Elvis Show

Reptilia
Would you like to meet a 15 foot long python?  How about a American alligator?  Reptilia's shows feature these animals along with a large tortoise, lizard, and more. Participants will learn all about reptiles and conservation while enjoying an entertaining show.   

Presentations are interactive and allow for plenty of opportunity for audience participation, live contact with the animals, and interactive question and answer periods
Tribute to Highschool Musical
 Dance 'n' Play with Silke
Veteran children’s performer and dance teacher Silke Henke delivers an interactive dance experience for kids in the audience and on stage. As an instructor and performer for the past thirteen years, Silke has been teaching dance to school students from ages 3 to 16 throughout Ontario. Dance styles include hip-hop, jazz, line dance, swing and Latin. Her easy and patient manner and comprehensive way of instruction make it easy for even the most uncoordinated child, or adult, to learn how to shake, rattle or roll. Her own performances have taken to venues all over Ontario and Quebec.
